Xfire is the solution for all the PC players that want to stay online and chat with their contacts while they play. It also comes with various other options like the possibility to take screenshots of the game and even stream video while playing.
Once installed, the client will detect the games you have installed on your hard drive and will show them on a list from which you can manage them. You will also see a contact list that shows which game each of your online contacts are playing and for how many hours. You can chat in a separate window as with any chat client.
Xfire has a system of non-intrusive notifications that allows you to see invites to play games or messages from friends even while playing. This makes it an alternative to platforms like Steam or Origin, for games not supported by these. In fact some of the most played games through Xfire are the well-known World of Warcraft and League of Legends.
